Question: Where can I find information about the Flynn Bunk Recall (Sold Only at Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture Stores)?

Answer: Please click the link for information about the Flynn Bunk Recall: https://hillsdalefurniture.com/Main/Home/ProductRecalls

Question: Why are my wood screws too short?
Answer: When attaching stool seats to base make sure you are putting hardware into the recessed holes otherwise hardware will not seem long enough. Also you may try flipping the seat base ring over as the screws will not fit with it assembled upside down.

Question: How does the leg brace to fit between the legs?

Answer: Ensure not to fully tighten legs to seat base before assembling leg brace; leave the legs loose so leg brace can fit evenly and align with assembly holes on each leg. Once the leg brace is assembled completely, finish tightening the legs to the seat base to complete assembly.

Question: How do I assemble the swivel plate? It looks like a solid square and won't align to the assembly holes.

Answer: Hold the swivel plate, horizontally in your hands. Push on both sides at the same time, diagonally, with your thumb and index finger at opposing corners - the top plate should move in one direction and the bottom plate should move in the other direction. Following these steps will open up the swivel plate to show the 8 assembly holes. Align with these assembly screw holes to assemble to stool.

Question: Will the Pop Up Trundle work with my daybed?

Answer: Our pop up trundle model 90010W works with some of our daybeds but not all. The pop up trundle will NOT fit any of our upholstered daybeds and it will NOT fit any of our decorative daybeds where a matching trundle is available.

If you would like to check that you are purchasing through an authorized retailer please feel free to call us at 502-562-0000 to confirm before placing your order.

Question:  Why did I only receive a headboard; where are the rest of the parts?

Answer: Our complete beds come with all parts packaged inside the back flap on the headboard - flip over the headboard and open the flap on the back to retrieve the assembly guide and all parts

Question: Where are my stretchers?

Answer: Some of our stools come with parts like stretchers and hardware packaged inside of the stool base / seat. Check under the seat base to see if your stool has hidden parts stored here!

Question: Can I buy parts from Hillsdale Furniture for an Out of Warranty product?

Answer:  No, Hillsdale does not sell parts of any kind.

Question: My product is missing pre-drilled holes, what do I do?

Answer:  Pre-drilled holes are only required for bolts and not required for wood screws. Metal items will have threaded holes tapped into the metal whereas wood items will have a metal threaded insert for bolts. Cushions and slats are a couple of examples of parts that use wood screws during assembly and do not require any pre-drilled holes - they screw in, directly.

Question: Can this bed be used with an adjustable frame?

Answer: The only beds Hillsdale carries that will accommodate an adjustable bed frame are various models of our upholstered beds with matching rails and footboard. An adaptor plate would need to be purchased to do so from the business where the adjustable frames were purchased. If you have an existing matching rails system, this could potentially be used as well by leaving the slats out and assembling the rails around the adjustable frame.

Question: Where can I buy compatible casters?

Answer: Contact Us - Global Caster or Caster Depot - if you are having trouble identifying compatible casters, you may be able to provide their customer support team the measurements, color and shape of your existing casters to procure replacements. We recommend purchasing a full set to ensure the product sits level with the compatibles.

Question: Where can I buy compatible floor glides?

Answer: Allglides.com- if you are having trouble identifying compatible floor glides, you may be able to provide their customer support team the measurements, color and shape of your existing floor glides to procure replacements. We recommend purchasing a full set to ensure the product sits level with the compatibles.

Question: Where can I find compatible hardware?

Answer: Hillsdale does not sell parts, and lost hardware would fall outside of the warranty coverage for this product. We recommend using the parts list on your assembly guide to purchase the hardware needed at your local hardware store, such as Ace Hardware. (Mechanic shops are another good place to check for bolts in metric measurements.

Question: There are black caps on the bottom of my headboard posts, how can I insert the extension legs?

Answer:  The black caps or plugs come inside the headboard posts to keep them in perfect round shape during transit, however, to assembly the headboard extension legs you must use a flat tool (such as a butter knife) to safely and gently apply force to pop out the cap and insert the extension leg.

Question: What type of extension cord should I use with my power lift recliner?

Answer:  When using an extension cord with the power lift recliners - any standard 110 UL approved extension cord should be safe to use.

Question: What does the manufacturer's warranty cover? Can I receive a copy of this?

Answer: Please feel free to download the Warranty from the document attachments area.

Question: How much space is between the floor and the bottom of the frames?

Answer: Approximately 7 inches from bottom of rail to floor.

Question: Where is the footrest and hardware for my Classic bar?

Answer: The footrest and associated hardware are packaged up underneath the main bar base. Please gently lay the bar base on its side and check up underneath the bottom of the main bar base for these parts. Remove the footrest endcap as the hardware is located inside the footrest. This is a common oversight and it would be great news if you are able to find them that way you have everything you need for assembly without waiting additional time.

Question: Can the side bar go on either side?

Answer: Yes.
